3 models →Which industrial compressor does your plant need?
An industrial compressor should be chosen by air demand (litres per minute), the pressure you need and the daily running time — not by tank size. For intermittent use, in workshops and repair shops, a piston compressor is the economical answer: the ITALYCO KP series runs from 1.5 to 5.5 kW, with tanks from 50 to 270 litres and 250–820 l/min air displacement. If the machine runs for several hours a day, or has to run around the clock, a screw compressor is the better choice: the ITALYCO KV, MAXI and KVSD series cover 2.7 to 160 kW, fixed-speed or inverter-driven, and are also available with an integrated tank and dryer. Dry, clean air calls for a refrigerated air dryer and filters, which we supply sized to the compressor. How much does an ITALYCO compressor cost?
Net prices start at 160 000 Ft for piston compressors (KP 50/2) and at 950 000 Ft for the screw compressors on offer (KV 8); the prices are in the tables on the category pages. If you also need a receiver, a dryer, filters or the connections alongside the machine, request a quote and we will send you a specific offer within 1 working day. Is there a warranty and spare parts availability?
Yes. We provide the official manufacturer's warranty and hold genuine ITALYCO maintenance kits (oil filter, air filter, separator) in stock.
What size compressor does a car repair shop need?
In a shop with 2–4 bays, 450–900 l/min is typically enough. That is covered by the two-stage KP 300/5,5 or KP 300/7,5 piston compressors, or by a MAXI 8–10 screw compressor. If the machine blows for several hours a day, a screw compressor is the better choice.
